For as long as I can remember, helping others has brought me such joy. Being able to serve others, to help them feel loved, supported and cared for has been of great value in my life. I went to college to get my bachelor's degree in psychology believing that it would be a great way to serve others. However, after graduation, I knew I belonged on a different path. Little did I know that my heart would be pulled in an unexpected direction. On my own journey into motherhood having my 4 precious babies, I was slowly introduced into the wonderful world of birth. Since having my babies I have increasingly become fascinated with everything that has to do with the journey into becoming a new parent. I was trained by Thérèse Hak-Kuhn from toLabor in April 2016 and the more I learn about supporting a family through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care the more I understand that everyone deserves every possible advantage in their transition into parenthood. Whether it be your first, third, or sixth child, it should be the wonderful and memorable experience that you desire. Using my educational background and personal experience I am committed to helping birthing mothers, their partners and growing familes by providing resources to help familes make informed decisions, giving them all the options to prepare for labor and delivery, and helping to build their confidence in their choices, to be their own best advocates. I am excited and honored to be considered for the opportunity to serve you and help you through this exciting time of your lives!
